UBUD VILLAGE

KNOWN as the kampong of tourists, Ubud really offers diverse art activities and products. In the past, few foreign artists made the village their hometown such as Antonio Blanco, Arie Smith and others. Local style paintings can be seen at Puri Lukisan, Rudana Gallery, Neka Museum or Antonio Blanco Museum. Ubud also hosts some renowned restaurants.

JATILUWIH

RICE terrace of Jatiluwih is one of the favorite tourist destinations in Bali. UNESCO has included it in the World Cultural Heritage. Lovely view with the background of Mount Batukaru is also supported by cool atmosphere. Farmers cultivating their lands under subak or traditional irrigation cooperative are determined to preserving it while surviving their life.

TANAH LOT TEMPLE

LITTLE rock in the sea becomes the pedestal of the Tanah Lot Temple. When high tide comes about, this ancient temple looks floating. Other than temple attraction, it offers amazing sunset view. Do not forget to explore its culinary delights. You may want to try young coconut drink with klepon or ball-like cake with palm sugar sauce.

KINTAMANI

HIGHLAND of Kintamani offers panoramic view of Mt. Batur and Lake Batur and is good to be seen from Penelokan. One of the famous adventures here is climbing the Mt. Batur started early in the morning to see sunrise from the top. Other attractions are hot spring, floating restaurant and Trunyan village whose people do not bury their dead bodies on the cemetery.

LOVINA

LOCATED in Northern Bali, Lovina has calm seawater and blackish chromatic sand. This beautiful name was given by a local famous novelist AA Panji Tisna meaning to Love Indonesia (Love + Ina). The most frequented attraction is watching dolphin tour in the morning. To fill in the rest of your day, you can also visit nearby attractions such as Banjar Hot Spring and Buddhist Temple.

BESAKIH TEMPLE

PERCHED at the foot of Mount Agung, Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali. The temple complex established around thousand years ago has public temple and clan temples. Made from durable lava stone, this temple has one main temple and 18 accompanying temples. Some ceremonies are held here like Ida Bhatara Turun Kabeh (annually), Panca Wali Krama (every ten years) and Eka Dasa Rudra (centennially).
